A Place of New Beginnings for Young Single Moms
Supporting Young Women ages 18+ and their children through community, a safe place to live, and resources so that these women can find their purpose in Jesus and His Purpose for their Lives
“Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow. Where nettles grew, myrtles will sprout up. These events will bring great honor to the Lord’s name; they will be an everlasting sign of his power and love.”
Isaiah 55:13 NLT
In order to give the women we serve a real chance at developing successful, productive lives, we partner with each one to create a personal development plan using her goals, dreams, and skills.
We step in and help with the day to day needs by providing a safe home and childcare so that these women have the best opportunity to meet their individual goals.
Our Mission
Our mission at Sarah’s House is to establish a safe place for young women ages 18+ and their children and to build a community that strengthens and supports them - guiding them step by step into stability and independence. We will meet their practical needs while also providing biblical teaching and discipleship to help them discover their identity in Christ and His purpose for their lives.
Our Story
In 2010 the dream of Sarah’s House was planted by the Father in the heart of a mom overflowing with gratitude for all the ways He had provided love, support and a community to walk out this amazing but sometimes difficult road of motherhood. This dream was for a place of security for those who didn't have those things to lean on in their own lives. It was for a soft place to land when things were hard and the weight of motherhood was heavy.
