Sarah’s House Child and Family Advocacy Center is dedicated to serving children and families who are victims of sexual and physical abuse through prevention, education, and intervention.
It is our goal to provide numerous, quality services at one central location. This prevents re-victimization of the individual and their family. We treat each person with courtesy, respect, and compassion. This can help the victim feel comfortable and assists with prosecution of the case.
We offer 24/7 Crisis Intervention for all sexual assault cases, child molestation, and child abuse.
We also offer rape crisis intervention and support, domestic violence referrals to shelters,support groups and information for victims.
Sarah's House is now offering Good Touch / Bad Touch Education to schools and other groups. Call for details.
Sarah's House is designed to protect the victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse. We are not a shelter; but, a first stop for a victim in an abuse case. Sarah's House has facilities available for sexual assault examinations, forensic evidence collection and law enforcement interviews. Our environment is meant to be non re-traumatizing for the victim versus a normal "clinical" setting such as an emergency room.
Sarah's House has since developed into a fully operational Forensic Examination and Sexual Assault Center for all victims in Mohave County. To date, Sarah's House has provided services to over 4,000 victims.
